God Was Working

Some parting Thoughts this Tuesday night. OK. I don’t have all this figured out. All I know is He does. Luke 12:25-26 says, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very thing, why do you worry about the rest?”
The beloved Corrie Ten Boom told the story of how her father would not give her a train ticket until she needed it. Maybe he was afraid she would lose it. Anyway, she would say this after the story concerning our Heavenly Father: “And our wise Father in heaven knows when we’re going to need things, too. Don’t run out ahead of him.” And this about worry: “Worry is like a rocking chair: it keeps you moving but doesn’t get you anywhere.”
One of many of my other favorite Corrie quotes, “You can never learn that Christ is all you need, until Christ is all you have.” I have found that in these moments the “peace that passes understanding will guard my heart and mind.” (Philippians 4:7) and most importantly I “grasp the breadth, length, height and depth of the love of God in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 3:18-19). That’s ENOUGH for today and any day…
The Lord is good, He is gracious, and He is kind. I hear His voice and I feel His face looking at me each and every day – even when I am sure He just shakes His head, rolls His eyes, but gently smiles i.e. ‘There he goes again…” 🙂 .But there is not a day that I know beyond any doubt that I am beyond loved, and I am never, ever out of His care. I wish this for you as well. Life will always throw us curves to navigate and mountains to climb, we just know that God will ALWAYS make a way for you and for me. Love you all.
