Flying Lessons

Well, it’s midnight. Hello ’64’, my new/old Friend. It is through the storms in life that we learn who we are, what we stand for, and then, how to fly. Flying lessons STILL every day — 23,000+ days & 63+ years in the rear view mirror of my life journey. I am so eternally grateful to those who have walked the path with me–especially my BGFF Tribe who have taken their turns on my life timeline watching out for me my entire life-. I love you all so very much. And if I had a ‘theme’ song–it would be this timeless amazing hymn of the church. It’s lyrics even to this day bring me back to Redeeming Love daily–‘and sinners (ie. me) plunged beneath that flood lose ALL their guilty stains.’ PTL indeed.
‘There is a Fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel’s veins.
And sinners plunged beneath that flood; lose all their guilty stains.
Lose all their guilty stains; lose all their guilty stains
And sinners plunged beneath that flood; lose all their guilty stains.
E’er since by faith I saw the stream, Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme, And shall be till I die;
And shall be till I die, And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love shall be my theme, And shall be till I die.’
