A Daily Battle

Some days are like a daily battle, and some days we feel as though we’ve lost. There is a voice inside us baiting us and whispering, “Nobody sees, and nobody cares.” But Friends, God sees us. And He is with us.
He is waiting for us to come to Him so He can lift up our chins until our tear-filled eyes meet His. He is waiting for us to come to Him so he can hold us in His arms where He can fill us up with His spirit and strength. He knows we are running on empty these days.
Matthew 11:28-29 says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
He’s got us Friends…Let’s run into His arms that are wide open and He will give us the peace and comfort we desperately need. These battles we are struggling with have already been won–they were His anyway. And if a mountain seems too tall today–
‘Bigger than all my problems
Bigger than all my fears;
God is bigger than any mountain
That I can or cannot see.
Bigger than all my questions
Bigger than anything.
God is bigger than any mountain
That I can or cannot see. – Gordon Jensen
